Kiss Africa Entertainment, a local entertainment enterprise, has collaborated with Tru Media International (a London based fashion and entertainment company) to launch FOR THE FIRST TIME IN AFRICA, Music on the Catwalk (MOC BOTSWANA).
Music on the Catwalk, www.musiconthecatwalk.org , MUSIC ON THE CATWALK (MOC) is an exciting entertainment show, a fusion of live music from African musicians with cutting edge high fashion from African fashion designers in Africa and the Diaspora. The event aims to ENTERTAIN, INSPIRE, PROMOTE and CELEBRATE all African fashion and music talent to a wider audience in Botswana and Africa. OUR MISSION is to promote the fashion and music industry in Botswana. Promote tourism to Botswana and introduce other African artists and designers to Botswana.
MOC Botswana Launch party is scheduled for FRIDAY NOVEMBER 30, 2012 AT CRESTA PRESIDENT. It aims to achieve the above mentioned objectives. The event is also a build activity for WORLD AIDS DAY on December 1, 2012.
It is a charitable event and our charity patron, Gabane Homebased care stands to benefit from the exclusive event. Our headline artist/model is Tatiana Durao from Angola. Tatiana featured in Big Brother 2 and Big Brother All-star reality show. She is going make an appearance at World Aids Day in Mogoditshane before going to Gabane to present the Gabane Home Based Care kids. The event will feature top local DJs and Artists. The ticket to the event is P200 and we have limited seating.
The event is unique in the sense that its music fused with fashion and features an artist from Angola for the first time. We need diversity in our local industry. We are not going to see Black Motion and Micasa perform again and again. Our audience needs creative forms of entertainment, they aren’t desperate. At Kiss Africa we are known to doing different things to excite our audience. We brought Zambian Artists, Kenyan Artists; London based DJs for the first time and inspired local promoters. Music on the Catwalk is another showpiece that you don’t want to miss.
