Turrito Networks is making waves in the Telecoms industry and receiving accolades as proof of its distinctive product and service offering. The company was recently awarded Vodacom Business Partner of the Year 2012/2013; securing more than double the volume of business than the second highest reseller in the country.
“We are delighted with the recognition we have received in such a short space of time, only having taken our products to market just over two years ago”, says Louis Jardim, Turrito Sales Director. “The uptake has been fantastic and we are looking forward to another year of good growth. Essentially we are just getting started and the best is yet to come”.
Turrito is a converged communication provider delivering MPLS networks, hosting facilities, internet and cloud computing services to the corporate and SMME markets. A single point of accountability ensures that Turrito’s customers are continually offered the best possible solution in an ever-changing telecommunications market.
“Any service, any network, and access to all available solutions enables us to customise our clients’ networks to their exact needs, using combinations of solutions throughout the industry. Our converged model allows us to deliver the same Tier 1 service levels and resilient networks required by both large and small organisations, whilst providing far more focus on service delivery and support”, says Jardim.
Turrito’s virtualisation technology, known as Cloudware, enables the company to deliver any application, from any operating system, to virtually any device. This ensures customers are able to access their business critical applications and information from their smart phones, tablets, existing laptops/desktops and ‘thin’ clients, as long as they have connectivity. “Our virtualisation technology is able to deliver these applications using the thinnest of connections, and is extremely effective over high latency links into Africa”, adds Jardim.
Turrito has recently secured the internet and telephony services of SA Quantum, which will include further network expansion in the months to come. “We have also recently signed new site rollouts with Shaft Sinkers”, says Jardim. “Shaft Sinkers has recently ventured into the DRC and Turrito was selected as the preferred partner to provide IT communications for their site in the country. As a result of this success, we have also been requested to provide IT communications to their operation in Namibia.”
“Furthermore, our Cloudware team is currently completing their Linux RedHat certification and becoming affiliated partners, which will add considerable benefit to our customers’ Linux based environments”, adds Jardim. Proof of concepts are currently underway at several of South Africa’s major banks.
Turrito’s clients and resellers include: Super Group, Vox Telecom, Britehouse, Barloworld, AON, DataCash, MTN Business & Nampak Glass.
