Auto World recently gave away a brand new Toyota Etios to a customer for winning the grand prize in the ‘Win-a-Car Easter Promotion’. The promotion was a way for Auto World to give back to their customers and to thank them for their unwavering support.
The Easter Promotion ran from March 1st to April 30th, 2013, and entries were open to all cash customers who purchased goods from participating brands. Participants were drawn from the company’s nine branches nationwide.
“Over the years, Auto World has grown in leaps and bounds and still is; and this can only be attributed to our customers all over the country. This promotion was our way of saying thank you to them for their continued patronage,” said one of the Managers from Auto World, Mr Olebeng Mabotsa.
Speaking at the event, the ecstatic winner of the Etios Shonga Mosweu said he first thought it was a prank call when Auto World contacted him with the good news. “I was shocked and in disbelief and had even forgotten about ever entering the competition,” said Mosweu. “As I live in Kasane, I then went to the local branch to get confirmation. I decided to ask them a few questions first without revealing my identity just to be sure that it was not a dream.”
The response from the customers was tremendous proving their eagerness to buy products from the participating brands. Due to the high response, Auto World has decided that this will now be an annual promotion. Auto World has nine branches nationwide, some of which have a 100% staff complement of Batswana – a testament of the company’s commitment in empowering locals.
