This Thursday St Louis Export Top 40 Under 40 hosted their inaugural Crystal Chats at Lansmore Masa Square. St Louis Export’s Top 40 Under 40 has brought together different individuals under the age of 40 who have a shown a commitment to positive change in their environments in order to better Botswana as a whole.
This is a forum for discussion on topics that affect the nominees as well as young Batswana at large.It is an opportunity for the mingling of ideas and sharing of views on topics ranging from Leadership to Brands and Personal Branding.
The Crystal Chats will follow a talk show format where chosen speakers can present their topic and then the host will open the floor for further discussion.
The content and design of each Crystal Chat event is unique and developed independently, but all Crystal Chats events have several features in common. A suite of short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations and performances on a wide range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration and wonder and to provoke conversations that matter.
Organized along the theme of “Leadership – The special ingredient of great leaders”, the event will feature 3 to 5 of Botswana’s leading thinkers, innovators, artists, philosophers and entertainers, some of whom are Top 40 Under 40 nominees, representing such diverse fields as technology, entertainment, visual and performance art, design, politics, music, ecology, and media, among others.
KBL’s Premium Beer Marketing Manager Ms. Amakura Erbynn, could not hold back her excitement on the success of St Louis Export’s Top 40 Under 40 thus far, “We at St Louis Export, are very excited that the Top 40 Under 40 is making such big waves in areas that we think are of high importance in our country. Our hope is that we have more such events this year, and continue in this note in following years.”
The Crystal Chats will be held once a month under a different theme and have speakers and guests who will spark an interesting dialogue on issues that affect us all. The experiences open up an occasion for ideas and philosophies to be shared as well as learn something new and kindle open and fair debate on those who share views as well as those who see things differently. In addition to sharing ideas, the sharing of solutions is also encouraged among speakers and guests alike.
