The Country Manager for DHL Express Botswana, Mokgethi Magapa was recently invited to speak as guest of honour at Morama Junior Secondary School located in Jwaneng.

Magapa was invited to speak at the school’s annual prize giving day where select students were acknowledged for their exceptional performance in the various school subjects.

The school has a population of over 1000 students and to be acknowledged amongst the top achievers is an outstanding accomplishment. Following the award ceremony, Magapa then donated a computer and printer to the school.

“As part of our CSR objectives of Go Teach and Go Help, as DHL we felt it opportune to provide IT tools to the school to facilitate ICT tool based learning. It was quite fulfilling having an opportunity to spend the day with the students as well as being able to encourage them to do even better.

As DHL we believe that investment in the communities that we operate in goes a long way in creating sustainability for our business,” said Magapa.
