BTCL IPO announcement by Honourable Minister Molefhi

The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) is selling 49% of its shares, in BTCL through a process known as an Initial Public Offering, an IPO.
In conjunction with Public Enterprises Evaluation and Privatisation Agency (PEEPA) and Botswana Telecommunications Corporation Limited (BTCL), MTC will host a BTCL IPO awareness diPitso to share information with members of the public on BTCL shares that will be offered during November 2014.

The diPitso come as part of the overall efforts to educate and sensitise Batswana on the BTCL IPO, now in advanced stages. The BTCL IPO has been scheduled for November 2014.
The first Pitso will be held in Gaborone on Monday 6th October 2014 at GICC. Following this, a second Pitso will be held in Francistown on Friday 10th October 2014 at Civic Centre. Both diPitso will take place from 8.00am to 11.30am.
