There have been great new developments within Flying Mission Services and BlueSky Airways.
Last Friday, Flying Mission Services Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training School graduated five students who received a TEC accredited Diploma for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
Major General Tlhokwane, the CEO of the CAAB, was the key note speaker. FMS is excited to partner with the Training School to ensure that Botswana is an African leader in aircraft maintenance safety.
BlueSky Airways performed its first commercial charter flight with the Boeing 737-200 on 14 October 2012. A year in the making, BlueSky is excited to provide exceptional service to Botswana. BlueSky operates the first ever registered Boeing in Botswana. Additionally, it was a historical moment for Francistown, as the aircraft is the first Boeing 737-200 to land at Francistown Airport.
BlueSky returns with the BOCCIM delegates today, scheduled arrival 1630 hours. We are pleased to continue these high capacity charters while we await the Botswana regulations to allow for scheduled operations.
