Aviva Corporation Ltd says its Chief Executive Officer Lindsay Reed has decided to resign saying he will work out his notice period before leaving the company.
Chairman of the company Dr Geoff Loftus-Hills says: Reed made a sterling contribution to the mining group in his more than 10 years as the Chief Executive Officer.
“Reed’s most recent contribution was the successful sale of Aviva’s Kenyan gold and base metal assets to African Barrick Gold. The Board would like to wish Reed all the best for the future,” Loftus-Hills explains.
