The Lilac Media perception survey is an independently conducted media survey offered by Hotwire PRC. Launched in Botswana in 2009, September 2013 marks the launch of the survey in Tanzania. The Lilac Media Survey focuses on the public’s perception of local media as voted by the public over a specific given period of time.
“We have experienced great success with The Lilac Media Survey in Botswana. Locally, it has since grown to involve an awards element, with the inaugural Lilac Media Awards held in Gaborone in July 2012 and the 2013 instalment scheduled for later in the year. This unique tool provides information on the general perception of the public on local media. These perceptions help give valuable feedback to media houses,” said Mr Kabelo Binns, Group Managing Director of Hotwire Africa.
The Lilac Survey targets the entire Tanzanian public at large, addressing the various demographics which include gender, age and basic income. The Lilac Media Survey is an innovative idea fully owned by Hotwire PRC. The Survey is all about what the public actually feels and thinks about the local media on which they depend on to get their daily information.
Hotwire PRC prides itself in bringing to the forefront a professional platform for media houses to be able to do their work better.
Hotwire is a Pan African PR Consultancy that opened its doors in Tanzania under the Roots255 stable of brands in April 2013. “We are very excited to be able to offer our clients great value adds from the Hotwire suite of services. The Lilacs are just the beginning,” promised the Managing Director of Roots255, Ms. Denise Rosiello.
