Lansmore Masa Square has brought a taste of the FIFA World Cup to Gaborone through rooftop screenings at Absolut Gaborone. Igniting the passion of local football fans, Lansmore is live screening all 64 games of the most anticipated sporting event in the world.
Batswana have already begun to enjoy the benefits of the massive 3x3m screens at the hottest venue in the Gaborone, with an increasing turnout even on chilly winter nights. There’s a draw for all, as loyal football fans, as well as those simply looking to enjoy the atmosphere of the cheering fans, sip on crafted drinks and cocktails while rooting for their team.
“We’re a football loving country and we wanted to be able to share that love, passion and energy with everyone in the same place. It’s as much about being a die-hard fan as it is just soaking up the atmosphere. As the football frenzy builds up towards the Final, we welcome and encourage people to come down and be part of this football culture!” said Luke Wooley, Lansmore Masa Square Deputy General Manager, footie fan and creator of the venue.
The public are invited to attend live screenings for all games, with no fee for admission beyond the P100 weekend Absolut entry fee. Entry fee is not applicable on weekdays.
