Metropolitan Acting MD Mr Frikkie Augustyn
As financial institutions seek for various ways of engaging and educating clients and business partners, Metropolitan Life Botswana‘s Corporate Division has set itself apart from others by hosting a workshop that sets to demystify the products that are purchased on behalf of employees.
The 2nd Disability Workshop was hosted on the 13th and 14th of November at the Phakalane Golf Estate.
Hosted on an annual basis, the Disability Workshop marks its second year since inception. The Workshop was developed through the vision of Metropolitan Life Botswana Manager, Corporate Business Ms. Masego Tselaesele – Mokgolodi, who stated “This seminar has shown tremendous results in how effortlessly employee benefits are claimed. The various product offerings that Metropolitan Life has, have proven to fit companies’ strategic and operational needs”.
The workshop was held over two days at the Phakalane Golf Estate and attracted a large number of participants from various industries. Tselaesele-Mokgolodi went on to say that the workshop served to meet the main objectives “to share knowledge and provide insight on the corporate and employee benefits that Metropolitan Life has to offer as well as to provide for professional discussion and the opportunity to network with colleagues across industries”.
Metropolitan Botswana Managing Director, Mr Frikkie Augustyn, went on to say “Much of the insurance industry is comprised of brokers who are valuable liaisons between us and the clients who we are committed to serving. This Disability Workshop gives us an opportunity as Metropolitan to be able to discuss and interact directly with clients and ensure that they are aware of the benefits for which they are eligible.”
Concluded Mr Augustyn, “As one of Botswana’s leading life insurance companies, we aim to maintain the relationships we have with our staff and clients alike, in a bid to improve the product offerings to our customers. Events of this nature are testament to the importance of a dialogue with one’s customers. We look for forward to the next Disability Workshop”.
