outh Africa looks forward with excitement to welcoming Batswana football fans and celebration junkies to South Africa in January 2013, when 16 African countries battle in five South African cities to lift the most coveted prize in African football—the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) trophy.
South Africa already has a solid reputation for hosting world class sporting events, such as the 2010 Fifa World CupTM and the T20 Cricket World Cup. With AFCON 2013 just around the corner, South African Tourism is bringing the rhythm of AFCON to Gaborone.
South African Tourism was at the Airport Junction Mall in Gaborone on the 27th and 28th October 2012. The sport themed event offered a fun packed experience for the whole family. The two days will inspires Batswana to take advantage of AFCON 2013 to explore new experiences and destinations in South Africa.

AFCON 2013 presents Batswana with the perfect opportunity to travel to South Africa for the weekend.”
Visitors to Airport Junction Mall on the 27th and 28th of October 2012 will be able to view the thrilling leisure experiences available in South Africa on giant TV screens. Travel Agents, Reeca Travel will also so be at Airport Junction to offer their wide range of travel packages to South Africa. The ladies can book a place on the ‘Girls’ Weekend Out’ package and experience Johannesburg as a relaxing trip to the City of Gold. The package includes offers of sauna and jacuzzi sessions as well as relaxing neck, foot and hand massages, yoga classes and other relaxing activities.
