Stanbic Takes Banking To People With First Mobile Branch In Botswana

It comes as part of the Bank’s drive to allow easy accessibility and convenience to banking services, whilst also allowing for greater financial inclusion and customer experience.

The Mobile Branch can be used as a fully operational branch offering: cash deposits, cash withdrawals, cheque deposit and encashment, account enquiries, account opening, transfers and issuing of cards. It can also be used as a standalone ATM offering cash withdrawals, and Instant Money redemption.

The Mobile Branch will provide the Bank with business continuity capability as well as to exhibit the Bank’s products and services at national events such as  trade shows and various exhibitions. The Mobile Branch is the realisation of providing customers with better banking anywhere.

We want to provide our customers with a platform to transact anywhere they choose.The key message here is access and convenience,” said Calistas Chijoro, Head Customer Channels – Personal & Business Banking.
